Phillip Jennings is the Choral Director at PRP High School. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Miami University (Oxford, OH) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree, where he specialized in Choral/General music. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Music Education at Morehead State University.
- Performing Experience: Former member and soloist in Voces Novae (under the direction of Frank Heller III); Periodic tenor soloist at various churches (Louisville, KY); Member and student conductor of Miami Mens Glee Club (under the direction of Dr. Ethan Sperry); Miami University Opera Productions ("Duke of Mantua" in excerpt of Verdi's Rigoletto, "Rinuchio" in Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, "Inkslinger" in Britten's Paul Bunyan, and "Monastatos" in Mozart's Magic Flute)
- Teaching Experience: Kodaly Level 1 Certification; 3rd year as Choral/Vocal specialist at the high school level; Private voice studio teacher; Student Conductor of Miami Mens Glee CLub
- Professional Experience/Associations: member of American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) and Kentucky Choral Directors Association (KYACDA), member of the National Association of Music Educators (NAfME), Phi Mu Alpha (Music Fraternity)
